Policy and objectives for the quality and safety of food supplements
The management of Amazzonia Fitopreparati S.r.l., specializing in the production of dietary supplements such as tablets, capsules, liquids, including plant extracts and sachets, has decided to design its processes in accordance with internationally recognized industry standards, ensuring the quality and safety of its products.
The production unit is reevaluating its operational and control procedures in accordance with updated industry standards and regulations, with the specific aim of achieving and maintaining the following objectives:
- Comply with applicable food safety requirements, including legislative and regulatory requirements and food safety requirements agreed upon with the customer;
- Respond to customer needs and meet their expectations;
- Define and standardize equipment, process parameters, and control methods to ensure production reproducibility and, where possible, improve quality and hygiene standards over time, ensuring food safety.
- Ensure ethical and safety standards for its human resources, with particular attention to general and specific training, as well as through the sharing of experiences and feedback;
- Maintain and measure the corporate culture of food supplement safety and compliance with internal regulations;
- Continuously improve its performance through ongoing research into new formulations that meet market needs and customer satisfaction;
- Manufacture products that comply with applicable technical, regulatory, and legislative requirements;
- Select high-quality, safe, and certified suppliers, raw materials, and packaging, implementing supplier qualification through audit programs and risk analyses for alerts, fraud, and adulteration.
Management is committed to ensuring that a food safety system compliant with industry standards is established, implemented, and maintained.
The requirements and records of the FSMS are described in the Self-Monitoring Manual and must be implemented by all levels of the company and, where possible, by suppliers.
Management is directly responsible for managing crisis situations, relations with authorities, and external communications in collaboration with the Quality Department.
Objectives are explained and communicated to all staff at all levels through access to the Management System, training courses, and other forms of dissemination aimed at engaging all staff. Achievement of the established quality objectives will be verified during the annual management review meetings.
