Product information
Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutritional disorders worldwide and can be caused by various factors such as inade-quate dietary intake, poor absorption, or blood loss. This leads to insufficient hemoglobin production and, consequently, poor oxygen circulation in the body. Iron deficiency affects all age groups, with children, adolescents, and women of fertile age, par-ticularly during pregnancy and breastfeeding, being the most affected.
Iron is a mineral involved in crucial enzymatic reactions in our body, normal cognitive function, energy metabolism, and the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. It is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system, for oxygen transport in the body, and for reducing fatigue and tiredness.
